Are newbies allowed to post if they're also oldies? I've signed up with my bus pass in my hand, lol! Been browsing around for a few days wondering if I was a silly old fool? Perhaps I am!
How on earth am I going to get anyhere, I ask myself? Certainly not as a loner. So, I guess I should become a couple, go munching and find an amiable companion, and then go partying! Who knows I might get lucky, and if I don't I expect I shall have a laugh and no doubt a lot of other people will too!
Or does anyone have a better plan?

As the others have said, age is just a number, and my personal view is that it is the 'maturity' bit that matters.
As for you plan, I say go for it, and just make sure you enjoy the journey lol
