Yep it's coming up to that time of the year again when we all make pancakes and indulge in eating all the things we're not allowed to eat during Lent - so we use 'em all up in our pancakes and get tossing in the kitchen!
There's so many ways to have them, be it sweet or savory but how do you have yours? What's your favourite pancake filling?
Mine? At the moment it's got to be Greek yogurt, sliced banana and then honey drizzled over the top yummy!

Pancakes are good with Nutella, although the good old fashioned way is the best the a sprinkle of sugar Mmmmmm
Love them layered up with strong marmalade in between.
Lemon and sugar is delish too.
Last year we made American pancakes, with buttermilk and baking powder, they rose lovely and were fabulous with syrup. Not traditional English, more likely from Holland.
Sorry folks, Pancake day is definatly the 8th March.
Personally - I like my panacakes with cheese in them
ewww bought ones are horrible. Fresh straight out of the pan is the only way.
That said, I do buy Staffordshire Oatcakes (a kind of pancake with oatmeal in) and love them with ham and cheese in. They aren't so bad even pre-made.
Hi all
Yes we've been talking about this at work too! This year Shrove Tuesday falls on the 8th March and is therefore Pancake Day. However the 16th Feb is also Pancake Day too?! In fact the whole of Feb is supposed to be Pancake month?!
I've checked Google, bint - sorry bing etc and Shrove Tuesday is most definately March 8th, however last year it was on.... yep the 16th Feb! This year certain towns around the UK are holding their Pancake races on the 16th Feb still - Conwy, London Felixstowe etc.
ASDA and Tesco's are advertising 16th Feb as Pancake Day too
So lets take it as there will be 2 Pancake Days this year, a bit like the Queen's Birthday and Dean's for that matter.
As someone posted Pancakes can be eaten on any day so the dates don't really matter it's what on, in them that counts!
