Another smug southerner here as well Mr F.C. Why my daily sit on the M25 was made so much more pleasant as the sun streamed through the sunroof and the fresh breeeze, fair whistled in as I reached breathtaking speeds that sometimes exceeded 30 miles per hour

Not only was it a mere 16 up here, but I found a pub that had the cheek to charge two quid for a pint!!!! You wouldn't put up with that down there would you???

as well as mrs FC as well as. You will understand that my motives for getting mrs davj to attend to these tasks in our house are purely to ensure that she gets the regular excercise that is recommended for folk, as she doesnt get the rigerous sporting excercise that I take whilst playing darts and snooker at the local club.

Well what another hot one!!... Managed to fit in a great early morn round of golf too!. .. however ther latter part of my day wasn't as good. Walking round town in heavy uniform does tend to play havoc with the arm pits!!... :haha:
Anyway.. its 1am ..ive just got in, im shattered and im up again in only a few hours!.. Night all!.

MR Davej!!!!!! I walk or run up 3 or 4 flights of stairs a dozen times a day......... depending on the hours I do.........I do beleive my exercise routine is adequate, but I do the gym as well !!! what more has a girl got to do.!!!! :cry: :cry:

Well - me and Will celebrated in style with a number of pints of real ale in the local hostelry tonight - very nice!
Reminds me of a story though - some years ago the local horticultural garage told me the electric start on the mower had packed up and it was about Â£150 to put it right. I asked if the wife could still start it easily enough with the pull start and he said yes - so I told him it was an unnecessary expense to repair the electric start! wink

Within 3 months we had a mysterious fire and I had to buy her a new mower! - Told her it was her birthday and Xmas present for that year though - so got away with it!
Me thinks I am gonna regret typing this when the Abbot Ale wears off!
