our good freind marya has git big spot on her cheek and has a hot date this w/end driven with worry we in the north east chat room were wondering if any 1 has a quick fix remedy to beat the w/end coutdown no silly answers :P
I have found that using a witch hazel stick works..
It dries the spot, and heals quickly.
But what ever happens do not pick, as this well only help spread the bactaria.

I think this should be in the Steam Room lol
Look, I was diagnosed with adult acne 6 years ago. It's nowhere near as bad as it used to be but now and again I get these MASSIVE spots that stick around for weeks.
They're big, angry and red. No head, not squeezable. Although I did squeeze this the other day out of desperation and it just bled like buggery and was raw and horrible for ages after. Plus, it really bloody hurt!
Someone suggested pile cream  so I nipped to my mother's and nicked hers  It (the spot!) has gone down a bit but it's still really noticeable and I've got this reeeeaaaallly important thing coming up on Saturday and I need it GONE!
Failing that, what's the best cover-up make up I can get that doesn't make my face look like it's been freshly plastered?

your not getting this are you..... rolleyes
tea tree oil is fab hun, short of that try rubbing the said blemish on a tree bark that may help too lol x
tea tree oil is good, as is toothpaste (yep true, i use it when I have a zit i need to get rid of...)
and the trick many super models use.....pile cream.....honest, they use haemorrhoid cream like anusol, germoloids and the like, to reduce redness and swelling and to dry up the offending blemish.
and I, 100% promise im not joking lol
nope Marya_Northeast this shouldnt be in the steam room but your reaction should lol. but shouldnt this (or rather marya) be in the sick bay :therethere:
In no way do i consider myself to be an expert on such matters. Having baby soft skin i rarely have to trouble myself with such adolescent problems .. however over the years I have been fortunate enough to have picked up a tip or two.
Unfortunately most of these tips would be unlikely to work in the case of flan. Her ageing skin has suffered harshly at the hands of the elements and despite regular coatings of sperm it appears to be in a state of disrepair. A recent application to the listed buildings association was declined on the grounds of it being beyond economical repair ....
A quick visit to B&Q has revealed three possible solutions .... no more nails .. artex .. and polyfilla.
After reading through the instructions on each I am recommending a mixture of all three.
:-D
The Shaven One
Tea tree oil is brilliant, but water it down a little first as its will burn the skin if used in pure form!
Good luck......with the skin and your date smile
I feel for you Marya :therethere: I can already feel my whopper brewing for the munch next week rolleyes
Anyway, here to help ya! Why not go with the flow - Paint a red blob on your other cheek, tell everyone it's National Worzel Gummidge week and you're paying homage to Aunt Sally

Noone will even notice, it'll be brilliant
Unless of course you get someone who hasn't a clue who Aunt Sally is and "helpfully" informs you, in the middle of a crowd, that you've forgotten to blend your blusher confused :? :?

I've been thinking about this all night and how to solve your problem Marya ........ and come up with another plan cool 8-) 8-)
How about still working with the spot and keeping to a theme? Something along the lines of this guy....

Some plasters to stick on your face!! :bounce: My kids were always wandering around with strips of bacon stuck to their knees and elbows, they're great  Although they did eventually try and hide it when they cut themselves, saying it's fine and they don't need one of mummys special plasters and haven't we got any normal ones confused To the point where we were sitting in casualty and my eldest looked positively relieved when told her arm was broken and had to be operated on and bacon plasters wouldn't fix it :undecided:
Anyway, I digress :? For a temporary measure, as opposed to permanent tattoos, do the same as that guy up there, but in minature on your cheek. a couple of bacon and egg plasters and your spot can be the tomato!
Sorted! biggrin

Louise smackbottom lol
I was worried about a friend in need - and now she can go on her hot date knowing he won't notice her spot at all
Bit of advice tho Marya - Don't let him give you a facial confused
Or your bacon and eggs might slide off, leaving the tomato there on its own :?
not a solution to get rif of it, but try Yves Saint laurent touche eclat, cost £25 but OMG a wonder coverup, does wonders for lines n dark areas as well, i lovvvvvvve the stuff xxj
