Is it the uniform, or the job that the uniform represents that's the turn-on? Traffic wardens, for example, have very smart, military style uniforms and firemen wear bulky fire-proof jackets and trousers, but the second profession does far more for me than the first. A fireman is a heroic, macho figure Thats what does it for me- plus the added advantage that they usually travel in groups :rascal: and a traffic warden is a git Just doing their job as far as I'm concerned. There are definitely a lot of squaddies on here though - I've always wondered whether it's because they've seen the crappier side of life (violence, threat, suffering etc) and decided to live their own lives to the full - swinging being a part of that desire. Just my own thoughts though.
