Have you ever had a stalker off here? What happened? How did you deal with it?
I have a small problem with someone who got my mobile number off someone else and I've now had over 300 unknow calls on my mobile, they talk sometimes, and now they've found out where I live and have told me not to leave my side door open to my garage (I had the tumble dryer on at the time so leave the door open).
So I've changed my mobile number and cut up the old sim card. Worse thing is they say they are calling from a pay as you go phone so it must be costing them a fair old bit to keep calling and also its very difficult to trace the phone as they are telling the person who had the pay as you go phone is dead. They always seem to call at the weekend, when they know I'm with my kids.
Some people are just completely mad.
Hi soulgirl... I posted a thread similar to this a while back...

There is some good advice from people on here... I would also think about contacting the police. Take care hun. x
If you can get a number phone him really early in the morning; keep phoning until he answers (to give him taste of what it's like), then tell him that if he doesn't stop you're going to the police.
I did this after a person I used to know who kept phoning me every so often and turned up at my hosue several times sent me a really nasty anonymous letter after I told him to go away.
And it's worked so far.
The Protection from Harassment Act 1997 was passed by Parliament after a number of cases involving men trailing or following women over a considerable period of time. The change in law means that it is now an offence for someone to behave in a way which they know (or ought to know) amounts to harassment or puts a person in fear of violence being used against them. For an offence to be committed, the behaviour or conduct must take place on at least two occasions and is punishable by a period of imprisonment and/or a fine.
Someone who feels they might be a victim of harassment can apply to a court, for what is known as an injunction, ordering the person committing the offence to keep a certain distance from the victim's house or place of work. The victim can also apply for compensation for the worry they have suffered or for loss of earnings through time off work.
What If It Happens To Me?
It all depends on the situation. If it's an isolated incident and the person is someone you don't know, then it may be best to try and ignore it. If you react and get abusive yourself, you run the risk of finding yourself in a far worse situation.
However, if it's happened before, or you're being harassed where you live, then it's important to tell the police - for your own safety. If you are getting abuse at school, college or at work, try and sort it out with the people concerned, but if that's not possible, or successful, raise it with someone in authority
Hope this helps
One reason for putting this message on here is so that the person can see that I am not bothered as to what they have to say, the sim card for that mobile number is cut up so they now have no way of contacting me.
So at the end of the day all that this person has achieved is wasting loads of their money.

If, as you are leading us to believe, the person is on this site, you need to report this to admin. They will take the appropriate action so that others dont have to put up with this behaviour
Stalkers love any kind of attention.
