Well, since both Luke and Leia are Jedi and thus force aware, perhaps they were able to connect emotionally with Padmae whilst still in the womb. As to why Leia can remember and Luke can't, perhaps Leia was more empathic than Luke.
Its also possible that while Luke grew up with his Aunt and Uncle knowing that,Leia didn't know that her adoptive parents were not her real parents and maybe her adoptive mother died a couple of years after she was born thus remembering her as her real mother not thinking that she couldn't be Lukes mother and she couldn't exactly ask her dad (adoptive) because her planet was blown up in Epi iv.
i didn't know pademe died in the last one though!!

What a load of pap. I am becoming more and more hostile towards this film and it's kin due to the fact I had to try and teach about Hinduism today and the holy book called The Vedas.
Didn't the whole conversation turn star wars mad and the kids go on about the film and who had seen it, who hadn't..... blah blah fecking blah. rolleyes
One of my class actually believes he is a Jedi. FFS Get fecking real. mad

How come Obi Wan doesn't remember R2D2 and C3PO in Episode iv.....despite R2 saving his ass on a couple of occasions in the past?

So who says he isnt a Jedi? Have you got proof?
I am happy to belive that all the kids i have had the pleasure(?) of working with today actually originated from another planet!!! Just wish they would sod off back there!!!!
Sorry De. Sade, i have nothing remotely intelligent to add to this thread!!
Oh forgot to say, i love puppies and dittens, if anyone knows where i can get a job working with them (wihtout years and years of study) that pays decent money, please contact me immediately!!!

P.S. In episode IV - A New Hope when Darth Vader and Ben (Obi Wan) Kenobi duel doesn't Darth Vader say "Your powers are weak old man". Well, FFS didn't Vader age after his legs were chopped off then? I mean whatever age Obi Wan was, Darth or Anakin was only 12 years behind him surely. Whass goin' on???

Cause at this point Darth is still an arrogant little sh*t smile So he would never think of himself as old...
For someone who went on to become the most evil man in the universe.....he was on a par with Jade Goody for Brains! lol

I think you'll find that your holy book was the inspiration for the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vedas. The Vedas were also allies of the Seperatists and fought under the command of Mon Calamari in Return of the Jedi. Wookies eat kittens, which is why they live to be 300 years old and Jabba the Hutt served up puppies to his guests as a starter.
So you see, you are more involved in this than you think.

P.S. I think you're just pissed off because you didn't get to see Jar Jar Binks die.

rotflmao :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
Oh how close to the twisted truth that is. confused
Pissed off I am.
Wanting the children to go back to the planet that foxylady speaks of, I do.
And Jar jar binks, damn right I wanted to see that waste of space character torn limb from limb by the biggest badest darth whatever and his pet beastie too! biggrin
Oh and reality check, it's only a story!
Gem. x :P
ps. thanks for the hugs kiss I needed them!

:lol2: There's a guy at work who the day after general release - he sends out an email that didn't give everything away but did give away one of the key events ... just as well I was off work tail end of the week and had already see it! Too early for spoilers ... sure, everyone has known since 1977 that Anakin goes to the Dark Side but that doesn't mean you want the details of the plot given away!
I bought the novelisation a month ago but only just reading it now because I didn't want to know the detail.

... because some inconsistencies/errors will never be cleared up/corrected ...
c'est la vie ... wink
ps. keep an eye out for the Millenium Falcon ... !
I really enjoyed the plot in the new Star Wars Movie, as it has an ambiguous theme.
Not many Hollywood Pictures have this its very basic Good vs. Bad but in this the Jedi aren't the good guys that they belive themselves to be :!:
Without giving any of the plot away the Jedi break their own 'Holy Rules' that they always bitch at Anakin about.
The real star of the film is Ian McDiarmid that plays "Palpatine", he is what is know today as a Neo - Conservative. The Jedi I see them as "U.N" & currently the Neo - Con's in The White House want to get rid of the U.N.
The Jedi like the U.N are not pro - active enough a common complaint hence friction between the two groups.
It's up to you how you watch a movie you can either sit down & be shown all the sections or some of its left to you the viewer to think about.
One way is not better then the other but if you look into a film meanings then its more enjoyable. An example being in "Pulp Fiction" when 'Butch' goes for a Weapon in the Dugeon - he goes after a Samurai Sword thats linked to honour.
Butch has no honour casue as a Boxer / Warrior he accepted cash to lose a fight & then he went back on his word & won the fight via K.O.
In the Dugeon he could of left his enemy to be & eventually Murdered yet he saved his life thus regaining his honour.
That's all folks & enjoy the flim.
