Well I've had some sleep now.
Thank you to Steve for organising it and to everyone else for making it such a great night.
The costumes were fantastic but I have to mention Celtic (HRH), Angel and Wilma for having the best boob displaying costumes I have ever seen silly

I tried to emulate them by using a giant jenga brick to prop mine up but it just didn't look the same confused

Lucy looked perfect in her costume - she could have walked straight off a period film set, and Missy's mum should go into business, making them.
Everybody looked great and it really made the evening spotting the costumes.

I doubt the other 120 guests would like their pictures posted on here, especially the wedding party on their day to remember. Would you?

Ok, ok................I know I'm being a pedantic, boring, stick in the mud but I don't think you should be linking anybody's picture at all to this site unless you have their express permission to do so. A lot of people will be very sensitive to this and it could cause a lot of distress.

I have personally taken the time to PM everyone from SH who appears in the photos that I took, and most have had the courtesy to respond so far. Any who do not shall simply be blurred out of the photos, even though they have not expressly requested this. Of those who have picked up their PMs from me so far, you are the only one who has not responded yay or nay.

Of course, everyone who is not a member of this site or has not provided their express permission via PM will be completely blurred. This includes ALL of the general public who were not a part of our party. Granted, it takes me a substantial amount of work to accomplish this, but I have no problem devoting the time to it for the benefit of the enjoyment of others on this site.

Out of common courtesy, I am also going to blur the few staff who appear in my photos, as I am unable to obtain their permission.

Anyone who I am not able to identify and correspond with will, of course, be stricken from any photos I post. The 15 SH members who have so far requested that their faces be shown, regardless of the presence or lack of costume, have every right to appear in my photos.

I've seen all of Chris' photos, and he has blurred EVERYONE except for myself, Vix, Jas & Tim. He & I have been working throughout the day to find out everyone's preferences in terms of appearing in the photos, and I can tell you it requires an awful lot of effort and follow-up to make sure we get it exactly right before posting them publicly.
Personally, I am waiting until I have everyone's responses before posting, but Chris has already make the effort to blur ALL faces apart from those noted above and will be re-editing his photos as requested via the countless PMs we've exchanged with attendees today.

I agree. That is why Chris & I have been so diligent today in attempting to contact all of the SH members who appear in the photos. We've had a largely-positive response, and a majority have requested that their appearance remain un-edited. We are trying to be most sensitive to the desires of those appearing, and have dedicated a good portion of the day in ensuring that all preferences are wholly respected.
PLEASE allow those SH members who did not have the opportunity to attend the Medieval Banquet the pleasure of experiencing it vicarously through our photos. Although your post presumes otherwise, we are most concerned that everyone's rights be respected prior to posting anything in the public forum.
If it is the general concensus that we should not post our photos, then I shall be happy to avoid the time it would take me to selectively edit each and every one of them to conform to the desires of those appearing. I'll leave it up to everyone else to decide...

If you do have a pic showing my face then feel free to use it or blur it as you see fit.......I wouldn't want to scare the kids.......lol. Really sorry for not posting a thank you message before now.
I was absolutely shattered yesterday and have been very busy today.
All I can say is.......Thank you SteveG for organising a brilliant get-together and a big thank you to everyone that came and made the night a huge success.
I'm not going to start thanking people individually or I'll be here all night, but there are a couple of people I must mention for 2 very different reasons.
