I feel like I want to say something but not sure how to put it. It does seem that everyone is here to add something and to enhance their lives. The problem seems to be that it's not always the same missing bit for both parties, and this is certainly true of my marriage, so true that herself would not be happy to know I'm here.
But on the other hand if the enhancing is done independently then it strains the bonds of the marriage, unless like me its a secret. Of course it's arguable that the secret itself strains the marriage, but the most significant thing the secret does is to make it pretty unlikely anything will happen, (in my case if my age wasn't against me enough arranging the times and dates I can be away to match the times and dates of an event would/will be hard).
I think the answer must be not to rush because getting it right is going to be VERY important to your future relationship. Perhaps the best chance you have is the fact that you're being so open about it, but it's important not to agree to something for the sake of your partner if it upsets you.

And if it`s any consolation Mars` decided he was interested in contacting a single Bi male, and I was iffy with every ad he clicked on because I prefer all the people in the Cafe!

Damn, I'm not single! sad Thus, he'd have to cope with Vix as well. ;)
It's definitely true that the women seem to get all the attention. Vix loves this, of course, but so do I. I've always been a bit of an introvert, especially in social situations involving people I don't know. Parties tend to be the worst. Vix, on the other hand, is shamelessly flirty and gregarious. If it weren't for her, we'd probably never pull! It's a great comfort being out with her, and I've been able to open up more than I've ever had the courage to do in my life.
As for typical male jealousy, a funny thing happened to us last month: We'd gone to an all-night birthday party with another couple - P & J - from our village and, as usual, Vix was "on the prowl". She'd just wandered outside with a member of the band when, suddenly, P leapt out of his seat and ran over to me with a scowl on his face (he knows what we do, but has no chance with us). He grabbed my camera and ran outside after Vix.
Ten minutes later, I noticed another friend of ours dancing (who doesn't usually) and I wanted to get some photos...so I set off in search of P. I found him sulking in a chair, camera to his eye, videotaping Vix talking to a growing group of guys. I told him I needed the camera back and he just frowned, sinking lower into his chair. I wandered back into the party and took my photos.
I don't know what it was all about, but it struck me as an overt act of jealousy on his part. What concern is it of his if Vix wanders off with another guy?! We're the best of friends with this couple and, although P is quite fond of both Vix & I, we've made it clear that nothing's ever gonna happen there. It just seems so strange, and Vix & I haven't been able to figure this one out.

I don't know if I'm qualified to give you any advice Claire but I always remember an old saying my gran used to say. "For every piece of stale bread there is there is a bit of stale cheese that goes with it. Do you have the patience to wait."Over the years I've found this to be true many times.
