Am now listening to the Dixie Chicks for anybody that is interested.
Particularily like the song 'Travelin Soldier' It always bring a tear to my eyes.
Just downloaded it. I wasn't really aware of their music before, but you're right, that's a very moving track.
Odd, ITunes decided that I wanted to listen to 'Everybody Hurts' next, maybe it's feeling depressed ???
Just downloaded the entire back catalogue of definately one of the most talented bands used to have all the CD's but got them nicked years ago and only just got round to replacing them.I would advise that everyone should get hold of Green,as it's the album that really showed what a great talent they are,a bit political but still awesome.
I'm listening to a mixture CD.......but at the moment it's KC and JoJo.....
the new Dizzy rascal album for me.......
Faithless, followed by Crowded House followed by Nickleback
The Last Waltz DVD-not so loud.
The Lacedmilk collective. If you like the Aphex Twin's less agressive tracks, I highly recommend you try some Lacedmilk (all their stuff is released as free and legal mp3s) - you can get a good flavour here:
Just been driving down the M6 with Saturday Night Fever on very loud and singing very loud and v badly to it.
One of the most atmospheric late night albums ever:
John Martyn .Solid Air.
Marleena Shaw: Anthology - a great album
