Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
After two and a half years of untold misery, banging of head on steering wheel,
and generally being pissed of with queing for hours on end, the roadworks on the Stoke ring road have finally been finished (well, enough to let traffic flow through anyway)

Its good been on it today and there was road kill on it already.

Not sure it could have been a flat fish. wink
Maybe they can send the troops down here to help finish off the Cogan Spur. It's like the bleeding D Day landings at rush hour mad

Seriously it ain't that bad a place I've even lived there for a year or 2 and besides it's given us such wonderfull people as...................
Sir Stanley Mathews (they like to tell everyone every 30 seconds) Robbie Williams biggrin Slash :D Anthea Turner confused and er WinchWench
2 years .. I beg to differ ... I left Stoke on Trent in November 2003 and it was started then. I remember crying my eyes out over all the lovely avenue of trees that were unceremonially ripped out so the JCB's could park mad
Since then I have visited the area a few times (re-visiting old friends and lovers) and found it a total nightmare, so sometimes drove on to Jct 16 and back again to avoid it.
Just very glad our city centre revamp didn't take so long here in Plymouth :thrilled:
DD biggrin
the best thing they ever did for stoke was build that A50 through road
and now the A500 underpasses make it even better
you will see even less of the damm place
i'm sorry but it it the most depressing, dirty hole of a city
