just wandered into the office and grabbed my laptop out of the car, as i hauled it onto my shoulder, the strap to the bag pinged off it's clip and the bag (and laptop) hit the floor. Obviously i'm thinking 'F*%k, it's gonna be all smashed when i look' get into the office and find it's still in one piece, but covered in something gooey. i look into the bag and find the banana i'd put in for my mid afternoon munchies had taken the full impact and had burst, thus saving my laptop from damage.
