Sorry if this isnt the right place for this, but......
my wife took it upon herself to purchase a strap on yesterday, and I was wondering if anyone here had any useful advice on best positions/techniques for both her and me?? ( and before anyone says it rolleyes

.....lube, lube, lube, lube and some more lube for good measure...)

Well personally I think you should have waited before you bought the strapon, perhaps you could have experimented with butt plugs and/or fingers so you could find out roughly what size you can cope with.
Remember - a mans bum isn't designed any differently from a womans (you know what I mean!) so don't panic! As others have said try to relax, don't put too much pressure on yourself and go with the flow.
If it's you first time maybe your partner can sit on a dining chair and you straddle her with your back to her - that way you can control how much penetration occurs etc - alternatively she could lay down and you could go on top - also giving you control.
I've always found that using condoms help - partly because flavoured ones are fun but also because the lubrication lasts a lot longer, but I also think it's more hygenic in the long term.
I'm not sure how explicit to become here so I'll just say it anyway. My 'top tip' would be, when she first enters you if you do feel any pain, try to relax and tolerate the strapon just being there and ask your partner to not move it a moment.... try to stimulate yourself another way ie kissing or just touching each other and trust me your muscles with relax and you can hopefully enjoy some movement from her (or you if you are on top).

nice one! ;) really can't add anything to what gems's said. on your back or you on top are easier for both parties i think, to get used to the feel and rhythym, and puts you in reach of the fem, and gives her something to play with. i'm not sure how much of a physical pleasure it is for the fem? i think as gem said it's mostly mental? dunno

I agree with Gem on this..the actual act itself is a massive turn on for me (probably something to do with the feeling of role-reversal and a sense of 'power') but I usually don't need any extra stimulation to come. Don't suppose anyone can recommend a particular strap-on can they?
I'm a curvy size 18, and more concerned that I won't get a harness that will fit. I think ultimately any strap on I get would be for use on another woman - can't see me ever bringing the other half around to the idea of me using one on him, sadly...... never had the priviledge (or pleasure!) to use one on a bloke - but by god would love to!!!!!!

Most strap ons will fit. all the ones I have ever bought have lengthy straps as people wear them differently.
. I would personally recommend the Sh website

they are also really easy to talk to and will give you advice and talk you through what you might enjoy.

sexysara, start small, summat like a finger, and work your way up from there! it's amazing what you can get to like with a little practice! ;) and a good quality leather harness will be a perfectly good fit and quite comfy. smile
