Hi guys, been looking on the net for a pole dnace pole. . Girlfriend goes to pole lessons and they suggested the X Pole any other suggestions and the price varies so much?
Is it worth paying for it ? confused:
Also static or Rotator?
Any one got one they recommend??
Get a scaffold pole, get some one to cut it to the right length, paint it and fix it up.
Save you a fortune
Once sorted post photos up of it in use so we can all see
Have fun
I've sent you a web link on step by step instructions on how to make your own pole, but if you want to be able to move it, put it away then the one recommended is as good as any.
Alternatively keep your eye out on ebay smile theres a few on at the moment at £110 + £15 p&p
Hiya, thanks for the reply
do you really think scaffold is smooth enough?
Has anybody made their own here??
Damn willing to give a go as Kaz suggested ebay probably the best other option but looking at £130 which of course will be worth it but still a load of cash if i can save it !
Sarah will definatly forfil your request with some pics once sorted! You got any ?
Thanks again and hope to hear from you soon or anyone who has made their own or any other suggestions.
thanks xxx
To make it smoooth sand itdown with something, men really lol
Yes I have loads of photos.
Want to see one of my pussy??
Chap runs a metal working business in unit next to mine can get 2.5" thick stainless steel tubing, if you know the length you require i am pretty sure he could order up the tubing and a couple of brackets for much less than the cost of the so called strippers poles.
And as for getting it to you, i could courier if required.
There is on here.
Not sure whether it is any good, just came across it.

Well spotted Shaz :lol2:
Parents - not a good idea :giggle:
I fitted one for an internet stripper last year. She had already had an accident with a cheap fit pole. The bottom came adrift and nearly gashed her um gash. The main thing is having a decent ceiling and floor to secure it to. This is if you intend it for serious use. cool
You can try these see if they are any good for you
We got Janes pole from them and its great and a sensiable price too

Thanks all, yeah we have been warned off the peekaboo one for that reason that someone she ones hurt herself on it!
Ian and jane ?? hows yours ?? any pics ?
and im sure yes sarah would all like to take a look at yours ! biggrin
Definatly thinking of making one now and might go to a metal works or something but then again if i can find a decent one saves the hassle.
Still in 2 minds so any more comments would help or if any one has got one and can let us know how they get on with it. Again Ian and Jane would be interesting to see how yours is ?
I have the peekaboo one and wouldn't recommend it!!!
It's fine if you want it up n down quickly, and good for parties, but because it's just sprung loaded, you can't actually spin on it or climb it, and the temptation is always there, so one drunken move and it will fall over with you on it!
I'm looking for one that can be fixed in place, so anyone who had those links, please let me know too!
Hint hint santa clause (read, den!) .........................................

Hi gorgeous, where have I been hiding?!?!?!?!..................
We're back now! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Been away for a week so not been on the case of the project pole!!!.
Maz thanks for the non recommended Peekabo advice has def set our minds of not getting one of these.
Have now been looking at kitten kit. Any got one of these ????
Bout £100 quid ish look pretty good and can swing and climb on it. Cheaper than the x pole but not as cheap as make our own.
Speak soon
Ps Maz gorgeous assessts would love to see any pics of you on your pole !!!
I bought a peekaboo pole for my wife last christmas and it's a health hazard - not that when she slides up and down it all the blood rushes from my heart into my manservant but - even if you secure it well - it can come away.
I have it in our bar at home and some time ago when drunk had a go and as a result it came away and smacked one of our female freinds in the eye. Fortunately she was a good friend and remained one but it gave her a shiner and a 'coffee cup' ring scar - don't mention injury lawyers to her!!!
The other downside to it is that you can't do the manouvers on it that you would want to do.
You really need a fitted static pole with no joins.
I did adapt it and it's 'OK' now. PM me if you want to know what I did.
When you've got one I be happy to watch your girlfriend on it - just to make sure she's safe of course wink
Make sure you clean it regulary wink
eek jamie would not want to be on the recieving end of that !!!
Thanks for the advice seem to have a theme going on here about peekaboo poles
stil interested in making our own has anyone done it ?????
Also has anyone bought a kitten kit one ????
