Why the f*ck it is that Liverpool can beat Man Utd one week and then be held to a goaless draw by Stoke!?!?!?!

The thing is, "infinity" is an empirical measurement of "just keeps going".
Yes there is a centre of the universe and yes there is an edge of the universe. Unfortunate us mere mortals, or rather the majority of us, just don't have the ability to absorb the concept of just how far it is. So to all intents and purposes it is an endless distance away.
Likewise we have no idea (though there are many postulations) what is at the edge. Quite possibly it's another universe as no-one said that there can only be one.
