Well it passed over here about 30 mins ago so I thought that was it!!
Not a chance - it's turned around and coming back again. I love watching the storm and wish I was brave enough to get naked and go out in the warm rain (don't really think the neighbours would appreciate that
)

I adore thunder and lightening storms esp at night, turn out the lights and watch, very atmospheric.
We were in a storm once in Florida, lightening hit the barn we were in and lost all power/light etc, everyone was worried, but we thought it was fantastic!!

Here in Tideswell it was a beautiful evening. Yes, we had some rain in the afternoon, but nothing much, compared to Friday. In fact I went for a stroll around the village last night. It was dry and warmer than during the day, and I didn't even hear the roll of thunder in the distance.
Personally, I prefer to stand at the top of one of the peaks when the wind picks up and watch the cloud formations changing and the wind throws them around the sky. Exhilerating :!:
