Thanks for the warning Wilki ... no doubt it will hit us in about 15 minutes!!!! at least I haven't got to go and fetch anyone
Well it passed over here about 30 mins ago so I thought that was it!! Not a chance - it's turned around and coming back again. I love watching the storm and wish I was brave enough to get naked and go out in the warm rain (don't really think the neighbours would appreciate that ) Hope it stops soon though because I have to go and see to my horses! CA xxx
I adore thunder and lightening storms esp at night, turn out the lights and watch, very atmospheric. We were in a storm once in Florida, lightening hit the barn we were in and lost all power/light etc, everyone was worried, but we thought it was fantastic!! Just worry when my best m8 is on the golf course

Was I on a different planet last night : Here in Tideswell it was a beautiful evening. Yes, we had some rain in the afternoon, but nothing much, compared to Friday. In fact I went for a stroll around the village last night. It was dry and warmer than during the day, and I didn't even hear the roll of thunder in the distance. Personally, I prefer to stand at the top of one of the peaks when the wind picks up and watch the cloud formations changing and the wind throws them around the sky. Exhilerating :!:
Storms are mint! Can't wait to move to teh Canary Islands... Loads of Tropical and electrical type storms... SORTED! Oh, it's ODIN... not OWDIN. Sorry, bit pedantic sometimes....
