Rushing around this morning in order to be able to meet up with friends on time..... i noticed a strange noise in the car....
I switched the ignition off and got out.... walked around the car.... and could see nothing wrong... but still hear this strange noise like a small motor running.......
I ignored it and went off to meet up with my friends....... came back this evening.... started the car up and heard this funny noise again.... I went to the boot and looked at the engine.... I tried out all the lights etc..... and still couldn't work out what it was....
I drove home..... parked up.... stopped the engine... and there was the noise again...... i got out and moved the drivers' seat..... behind it was Bagpuss who'd fallen off the parcel shelf... I honestly didn't know he made a noise!!!! It was him all the time......
Imagine if I'd taken the car to the garage and said investigate that noise!!!!!!!
Do things like that ever happen to you....... or is it just me?????? !!!!!!!!!

The purrrr-fect after dinner story.
Just a few weeks ago I was convinced that there was someone following me from work to the station after I had worked an evening shift. I walk along a couple of very quiet roads through an unpleasant area, so was a bit on edge when I noticed the "footsteps" behind me.
It was like something off the telly. As I walked a bit faster, so did the person behind me, as I trotted up the steps, so did the person behind me.
Once I got to the main road, I spun round. No one there.
It turned out to be the toggles bouncing up an down on the small rucksack I carry. I was one relieved pillock.

The best is from a girl who works with us... slightly dizzy at times but when she got married she was only 19 her new hubby was 27... Anyway off they went on honeymoon to Florida... She had never been away before and on the first night there they were having a lovely romantic meal..... The waiter knowing it was there honeymoon offered her a screwdriver to go with her meal compliments of the house.. she looked at him in a glaze and said ‘no thanks I’m ok with my knife and fork’….
Laugh ....... we nearly died…

Something similar happened top a friend of mine.
All she could hear was this strange muffled buzzing coming from her handbag, but she couldn't find what it was, until she got home emptied her handbag and found......................
The lining inside her handbag was ripped and her electric toothbruch had got hidden behind it and had obviously got bumped and started working!
(I know what you were all thinking, you dirty minded lot!!! :shock: )
