When perusing the many, many adverts on the site, I thought to myself that it would make life so much easier if the listings had a column which identified the sex of the poster (M)ale, (F)emale or (C)ouple ... and the added bonus would be to be able to filter these.
Further, this could be extended to show what the person is looking for ....
M/F ... man looking for a woman
C/C ... couples for couples
M/C ... man looking for a couple
I don't know if this sort of thing is possible with your site, but from my point of view, it would be a great feature...
I wonder what others think ... and perhaps others also have sugestions for you.
The site's great by the way.
Hi Stallone
I think you'll find that since they are categorised into 'Men looking for women', Women looking for men',etc., why further categorise them? These seem fairly straightforward and I know some people put their ads in the wrong category sometimes, but it is pretty simple to follow.

This is true, but I think that having the ability to set your gender in our profiles on the forum would be helpful?
Ok my forum name is pretty self explanatory, but there are some very confusing avatars and forum ids? smile
Andy
I agree, it could be possible to put gender in the profile, but you will have noticed that a lot of people don't even fill in what we already have!!!

LOL. I'm the manager of a couple of groups on MSN and and agree that apathy is a force to be reckoned with. smile
Can't this be a drop down selection on the part where you create a profile, so that you can't avoid it?
If you go into the "Photo Ads" and view the "Latest Ads" you are only at the mercy of the subjects that people have used, for example one of the first is an "Occasional Meeting" advert.
I guess that it's not the end of the world that I should click this advert ... to find that it's a man, but it's not what I am looking for and I have just upped the number of visits his profile has had, so he's getting the wrong impression of the visits to his profile?
By the way, to the man whose advert I have used as an example, I mean no offence in what I have said here.
Sorry, if I sound picky, I am not a great writer, but my intentions are purely intended for a constructive point of view even if they dont' always come across that way.
Instead of going into 'latest ads', why not go straight to the specific category for what you are looking for? On the whole, most people are right ,with just some who post in the wrong section until we find them and move them.

Unless you have to fill in the gender most people wont bother doing it,if you look at profiles on various sites loads have no info on them at all.
Some people like their gender to be ambiguous anyway wink If you want to make clear your gender for other forum members you can always include it in your signature, as some of us do.
well said blue..

If you hover your cursor over an ad (in latest ads) the name posted shows up.
Hope that helps??
