What does a Sunday mean to you guys?? For me its usually one of two things. Steve (bless him) has to work every other Sunday so when hes here its a case of having a nice relaxing family day,big sunday lunch and a few glasses of wine in the afternoon, bliss!!!! :D :D When hes at work its a case of housework and waiting for him to come home   and i often get bored too. Think perhaps we should come up with some ideas for a specail swinging sunday perhaps?? Clare, xxx
Quote by Mark Mainly playing Rayman 3 with my son and going out for coffees etc. with the family. However, today I've got to put some skirting board up. I tell you, it's a damn hectic life I lead! :lol2: Shhh, don't tell the press ;)
| promise i wont tell lol!!!!! I must admit my 2 do keep me pretty amused what with their renditions of "10 monkeys falling off the bed!!!" Clare, xxx

Been there, done that. Hated it. Especially as non of the walls or the floors are very level in our house. Hope you've got yourself a nice mitre saw and an electric jigsaw with a small blade. It'll make life increadably easier. Me it's usually sat on the computer, but today it's going to be painting fresh plastering we had a few weeks ago. *looks round* Nope I'm sat in front of the computer again

A great Idea Clare. Can we have sunday roasts, real ale and strippers?
sundays to me every 2nd weekend im off work so i like to sleep in get breakfast in bed off the kids read the sunday papers in bed shower..........dress go shopping....spend all my hard earned money get home bag laden and flake out on the sofa and watch tv aaaaaaa i love sundays
I hate Sundays.......normally it means either me or the other half has to go home, as we live over 200 miles from each other. Makes us both look forward to the following weekend tho.......
Sunday is spent getting home if got lucky the night before, then recovering at home in bed. Then seeing if anyone else is playing out for the rest of the day........ Best day of the week.!!
Quote by Mark No, I think I'll stick with the proper way of doing it. Cutting it free-hand with an old coping saw and then finishing it off to 'perfection' with a surform  That should read, my Father was helping me with it the other weekend and he's gawn and walked off with the mitre! This is character building stuff I can tell you
Only one thing to say really..............................................

Was just thinking this, and before I started a new thread, thought I better check... So, to re-propose the OPs question, what does Sunday mean to you? For me, I guess it used to be a day when as a family we'd all be together without anyone at work or off doing sport/hobbies and so we'd have the traditional Sunday roast, read papers etc etc Now? I'm juggling work and a uni course so Sunday is head down, crack on with preparing for the week ahead, planning, preparation and paperwork.... Man, I miss lazy Sundays!! Nola x
our average sunday, is me working til 3pm, then home for dinner that my gorgeous hubby has cooked for me, and then an evening in chams......though if i can book a sunday off, we normally have a lazy day around the house, and dont always make it to chams

Well for me it's all about last chance to relax before the week starts again! A lie in then internet and tv. Off to the yard for a hack and then Sunday dinner at an increasingly later and later hour (down to 5pmish now ). And since I have been back on the scene I like to end the weekends with a trip to Chams! Chill out with mates and see what happens

Was just thinking this, and before I started a new thread, thought I better check... Nola x Fancy giving me some one to one sessions (hands on of course) on how to use the Search facility? I don't think I've ever found what I'm looking for on it. Sunday fer me this week has been the opportunity to get a pile of work done that I brought home for the weekend. The prospect of all that lot really took the edge off me Saturday. All done now though! :smug: .
Sundays for me is the chance to spend most of it wrestling with a sofa.. and thank god for sundays, the sofa is fixed .. hopefully spend next sunday fixing the bed :D:D:D:D

When not working tho I love going to mums for a proper roast beef dinner and generally just lazing around.
