any Lassie film..thankfully not on much now...but gets me everytime.
I haven't cried at a film for a while, but just before Christmas I watched Felon.
The tears flowed!
I never expected such a film to do that, came as a real suprise.
The last one before that was about a robot boy that wanted to feel love by a mother, I watched this with my 12 year old son. We were both sobbing after.
The name escapes me!

Think the film you described is called A.I. (as in Artificial Intelligence). It made me cry too.
The Green Mile...
"Don't put me in the Dark boss..." And that was it... on the floor. Blubbering like an Oscar Winner.
Just thinking about it still gets to me now and it is the only film that ever has.

Yup, that one too. Unlike you, Res, I cry at a lot of films though. Can be embarrassing in the cinema. I long ago adopted waterproof mascara for just such occasions rolleyes

Beaches
The green mile
Truely madly deeply
Trainspotting
Christian the lion
Loads sad
Yep, Beaches does it every time for me. The bit where she dies at the beach house! I can't hear "Wind beneath my wings" without filling up!
I also would never watch "Saving private Ryan" for a second time. The opening sequence of the beach landing really disturbed me. Probably because was about reality.
