I have recently heard from male and female friends of mine that have swinging partners who want more than just the swinging life and are looking for a long term partner. I wondered can a swinging partner just be a swinging partner? or should they be a life partner?

well i guess if you fall for each other and want to commit and not swing then thats cool, or if you commit and want to swing thats also cool, take some time out, , get the ground rules sorted, and then go from there dunno

Agreed, it's totally fine and normal if two people meet in the swinging capacity and fall for one another. Just don't be that person who hides being the swinging approach when in actual fact you're looking for relationships. There's nothing wrong in that, it's just best to be honest about these things. Personally, I think too many people use the swinging platform to find love without being honest about just exactly what it is they're after. It's not fair on either party.
