Swinging - Only for over 30s?

Hi there,
We're a couple in our 20s, totally new to the whole scene and keen to learn more about it. The impression that we've gotten so far is that it's not the kind of thing that many young people do. Most of the adverts we can find are for over 30s and clubs that we've spoken to say that their average age is 30-40. Obviously there's nothing wrong with having fun at any age wink

but we were kinda hoping to meet people our own age. Is it going to be a lost cause or are there other people like us out there?

i first joined this site when i was 23 and im just 29 now. ive known people of all ages and id say that there are quite a few couples in your own age bracket about....just keep looking smile

I think folk in my age range are having a 'second wind' with the type of carefree sexual adventures they may have had in their youth, they may have grown up kids and say to each other hey lets explore other possibilities within our relationship or be newly single again and want to to do likewise.
But there must be lots of younger people doing swingy things too and I'm sure you'll be noticed as being kindred spirits Kingmouse!Best of luck with it all! wink

I know what you mean about clubs......but in my experience when I've been to them there have been younger couples there not just 'oldies' in their 30's and 40's :lol2:
Seriously there are people of all ages here. I generally prefer to play with older people as I get on with them better but that's not to say that I would discount anyone younger than me purely because of that. For me it's not about a number but how people are in themselves.....maturity rather than age. I've met mature 19 year olds.....and terribly immature 40 year olds. It's about getting to know the people and seeing if you click.
I've always enjoyed teasing a friend of mine who not long after I joined this site said that he wouldn't play with anyone under 30 yrs old. I've held him to that and told him that we can't play until I'm 30 :lol2: May be I'm just a bit evil but i do enjoy winding him up :lol2:
I guess I'm saying that it works both ways and at the end of the day there's something here for everyone :thumbup:

Hi we are an under 30 swinging couple, younger people are harder to find but we/they are about so keep looking, like others have said, the chatrooms are a good place or the "my search facility" can narrow down the age range u want!!

I am an old crumbly at 35 :shock: but wor lass (my g/f ) is under 30. We have both been swinging (prior to getting together as well) for a number of years.. but as is human nature, people age.
Keep your eyes open for whatever your preferences are and you will get your hearts (loins) desire.

If it means anything to you, we (another young couple) are finding that the slightly more mature folk are much more relaxed and fun than the younger couples we meet.
We started out searching for people our age, but now we go far more for personality smile

just thought we'd drop a hi to everyone and say were in our 20's, m29 n f21.
must admit we do prefer ppl around our age and agree there is less of them on these sites, tend to meet more just in night clubs to be honest!
have had quite a few swinging experiances now but always looking for more....! wink

We've met with older and younger couples, both have been good experiences. As long as everyone gets along fine and there's the spark there then what does age matter?
