there is a swinging club offering the football on wednesday night which is greedy girls night.
the comment in the chat room was 'football on at the club on wednesday night if any single males wanna come watch the footie and have some fun afterwards at greedy girls night'.
now forgive me if i am being over sensitive here, but does this mean the females are half time/full time entertainmaint in the same vein as cheerleaders?
this has really annoyed me and it may just be me being over sensitive, but does football or any other sport for that matter have a place in a swinging club, why not go all out and have a knitting circle or cookery class.
to me it demeans the females that would attend on a greedy girls night normally.

i dont have a clue if thats happening, but i agree with you it shouldnt.
its one thing if your partner invites his mates around and you decide to entertain while serving the beers lol
but no come on sex or football, ok guys dont answer that one.
opps just thougt i bet we get pounced upon now saying we're presuming its the men who want the football.

trust you lol
no not just men lots of women like footie too, but what about the alcohol aspect, people like a drink while watching football, not saying there isnt alcohol consumed at the club, but its not normally fuelled by the excitement of football, and what about the ones whos team loses,
is there a possibility that could be taken out on
someone
i also think its just a ploy by the club to get more higher paying single males in there, total though of revenue without considering everything else
My view is that if 'that establishment' wants to show the Football on a Wednesday evening then what's wrong with that confused:
They show the footie (Scouse Slang) at
'normal vanilla' Clubs so why not in a Swingers Club confused:
If the owners of this mentioned venue think that their clients / members want this;
then so be it.
You must remember that in certain places in the United Kingdom,
Football IS the religion. Am very serious in saying this.
I have been to numerous funerals in my city.
This being Liverpool, when the coffin has entered or left the Church with the music of:
'Z - Cars' theme of Everton Football Club.
Or
'You'll Never Walk Alone' theme of Liverpool Football Club.
Being played. The crests of both Teams are on peoples Tombstones.
I have got friends from Manchester that have told me the same thing with either
'Blue Moon' or
'Glory, Glory, Man. United' being played at many funerals they have attended.
So, it depends on the social economic geographic location of this mentioned club confused:
I hope this gives you some possible 'light' into this question you have rasied.
Also if you think its wrong then have you made contact with this mentioned Swinging Club to make them aware of your views confused:
As it comes across that you believe them to be valid

I can see both sides of the arguement....
If i wanted to watch a football game I wouldn't do it in a swinging club.......so therefore... if not many people go, no guys equals no point going............
if that is the way it was worded then i think it was a bad choice of words...... and i can see where there girls going could and would be offended...

I went to chams a couple of months ago. It was so quiet there were more staff on duty than paying customers. Basically I watched the footie on the telly for a couple of hours while waiting to see if anybody else came in. They didn't so I left. It would have been cheaper to pay for a ticket at the match. lol
I can understand sport being on the telly. - but why oh why do people queue up to see who is being voted on / off xpoptalentjungledanceskatey blah. rolleyes

The above:
'xpoptalentjungledanceskatey' is pure genius.

Well flower i am not sure what a Greedy Girls night is? I am assuming its like a mmmmmmf - just one girl and lots of guys! Reading your message - maybe it was a way of the guy sussing out a) How many blokes turned up b) if they were suitable for the night ahead. Rather than have a massive drink with everyone, the idea of meeting too watch the football might be more relaxing and less pressure if it wasn't too be! I don't think the girl was going to be used as half time entertainment, golly gosh i hope not! biggrin I simply think it was a case of getting a group of guys together in an atmosphere they could all relax in - i don't know i'd need to ask the organiser!!
xxxxxxxxxxx Take it easy hun cool xxxxxxx
Earthy,
I cringed when I read that the club you mentioned was showing football, for the same reasons as you.
But its not confined to football at the clubs. I remember a time a Cupids and the Eurovision song contest was on the big screen in the main room.
Maybe I'm a swinging purist, but in my humble opinion the only thing on the screens at a club should be porn. biggrin But if you must show sport, let it be naked womens beach volleyball!! biggrin

John.... don't be dissisng Eurovision... or me and you could be falling out... lol lol lol
There is a huge Eurovision party in Newcastle on saturday night... if you and shel are not there in your matching Abba outfits... there will be trouble!!!!! lol lol lol
i would suggest the owners realised there was a top game on telly and wanted to fill the club with guys for the greedy girls that was in attendance that night.
Nope, football should be banned
although if there are any nice ladies who'd like to bring me a beer and give me a BJ while i watch the Rallying or Touring Cars then that's an entirely different matter biggrin
