Dearest Members,
It’s that time again.
Who will be the Champion? Pick your best against fellow members of this website.
To make things easier could all members that want to join & it’s free, please mention what’s the name of their team within this thread.
Last season some teams where in the real names of the members, so just say what’s the name of your team. As this will make the banter better between us.
Instructions:
In the next couple of days I will register a league in the official FA Premiership Website. Therefore as with previous years I am the Administrator & Moderator for our league.
The league is invite only & cannot be seen by non – invited persons.
What you need to do is PM me & I will send you ALL the instructions to join.
All you have to do is select your squad BEFORE:
11:00am on Saturday 16th August 2008, this being the first game of the season.
I like everyone to start together so no late additions are & have never been allowed.
So if you where in the league last year, want to join up for the first time or have no idea but want a laugh. Join in & have some fun.
Tip:
Last year a personal friend that had no knowledge or interest in Football won a Fantasy Dream League within their workplace :!:
Their method was just down to what players got the most points, pure statistics.
So you don't even have to be a Football Fan to take part. It's FREE & is for a laugh.
If anyone knows Members that would be interested in this information but are more users in the Chartroom than the Forum, please please make them aware.
I would really like a large League, this season.
Please when PM’ing me in the subject say: Fantasy Football.
It will help me loads.

Each player in the Premier League is awarded points on their performance for every game they play by someone(usually printed in the match reports in the paper)...
These points are used as the basis for your teams score..
e.g
If you pick Joe Bloggs as one of your team and he plays on saturday/sunday/whenever and gets awarded 6 points for his performance then you get 6 points
And its the same for every player in your team.
At least I think thats how it works :lol2:

After the sexy Sarah Douglas whom played the character:
Queen Taramis in 'Conan the Destroyer' (1984).

Basically Tan and Lyns, your team gets points every week based on a number of things like did your players play, did they score, did they help someone score. You get points deducted if they get red or yellow cards or let goals in etc.
After all the matches have been played each week, the points are tallied and (like real teams) you move up and down the league.
As I said, I seem to have developed a knack for getting it all completely wrong! There are some folk in here who are seriously good though... grrrr! evil

Dearest Members,
Please forward this information to fellow members as it would be great to have a 30+ League.
We could do:
Champions: 1st.
Champions League: 2nd - 4th.
UEFA: 5th - 6th.
Relegation: Bottom 3 places.
This would create a lot of banter & be a laugh for
all taking part.

I don't know if I can go thru the agony of blowing a big league with 4 weeks to go again...... I blame a combination of ronaldo,torres and gerrard scoring loads and my players going in the tank!!!!!
can't win the big one... just like chelsea!!!! biggrin

I have slightly cheated and had a look at a lot of people, there is actually a fair amount of "value" in there.....
in my squad so far i manages to squeeze 3 arsenal players, 2 man united, 2 liverpool and 2 chelsea....
