Hi All,
Does anyone know of any nice, UK, swinging hotels/B&B's? Any "Touristy" destination would be good to get the best of all things!
Thanks
check out the clubs section <<<<< over there and look at buddies in Blackpool .. also euphoria weekends for the more fetish based hotel but not compulsory.
chameleons n the Midlands has a hotel close by
If you can wait a few months this looks perfect.
For linkophobes : A 170-year-old Grade II listed building in Gloucester could be turned into a swingers club.
Plans have been submitted to turn the former New County Hotel, in Southgate Street, into a bar and restaurant and night-time private members' sex club.
City council officers have recommended the plans, which include themed erotic rooms and a sex shop, be approved.
The city council's leader and the civic trust say moral issues cannot be taken into account by the planning committee.
Paul James, leader of the council, said: "The committee will have to confine itself to the relevant planning issues. The moral aspect of it isn't a relevant issue.
"If it's going to happen we've got to make the best of it. Gloucester is an open-minded and tolerant city and the majority of people I've spoken to haven't got any issues with it."
Hugh Worsnip, from the civic trust, said the building has been derelict for two years and although they would prefer it to remain as a hotel the plans would maintain its internal structure.

In edit : It used to be called the Ram Inn. You couldn't make it up!

Shame Foxy, an hour after your post the BBC updated the story. The planning application was turned down. If the owners take it to appeal it may well get through however. Will be interesting to see what happens

I know everyone has their own opinion but we went to Buddy's in Blackpool in October and would never go again!!
The rooms are horrid (believe me I've slept in some nasty places before but this was by far the worst). The playrooms (of which there are not enough) close too early and even as a smoker it was far too smokey so what it's like for non-smokers I wouldn't like to imagine!! ...... I could go on but wont.
we go to euphoria in blackpool quite a lot and have never had a bad time we may go in november to incorprate the visit with some xmas shopping

I have to agree.. one of the worst places I have ever stayed. Found it to be rather unclean which is just not acceptable!!
So where else is there? We'd go to one if I could find one that met Mrmids impeccably clean standards. Plus we also wouldn't necessarily want to play the first time we go, just exhibit ourselves.
does it have to be a hotel ... what about a private hotel that is close to a club then you can satisfy both the exhibition side and the need for cleanliness as most clubs are really clean and also close to hotels that if you did fancy a play then you just take them back to the hotel or play at the club thereby keeping the hotel room clean lol
Thanks Sara x. I guess it doesn't, you're right. We are total novices though at this, so wouldn't know where to start at a club, but we're fairly sure that at least on the first visit, we'd just want to exhibit and then leave (quickly!!) ;0 Is this possible/fair? Mrmids is being very bold about it and saying that we'll be fine etc!
well...why not try this as a start

its a social at chamelions which is only down road from yourself. Give you chance to see if you like the place in relaxed company. Just an idea.
xxx
mr mrs mids its is totally up to you what you do if you want to perform and leave then do just that. if you want to stop and have a drink before or after thats fine. if when you get there you dont want to even go upstairs and look round that is entirely up to you. no one is there to judge you on what you will and wont do .... unless you give them score cards and ask for a score out of 10 lol the key to having a nice time at a club no matter what you are doing there is to relax and enjoy what happens. as dean says the social at chameleons may be a good starting point as nothing will be expected from you, have fun hun xxxxxxx
Blackpool Touristy enough for you??
There is a place in Blackpool called Blackpool Fun House. Its normally a standard B&B but once a month the owners (who are swingers themselves) have a Swingers weekend. Get about 10 couples and 2 or 3 single guys, who have to be known and approved by the owners.
Place is really nice, owners are great, smoking only allowed in designated bedrooms or outside.
Look for a review on this site or pm us for more details.
