Laws remain on the statute for years...
We still have many.. Like keeping a bail of hay in a hackney carriage for the horse!
Can't imagine anyone actually being charged.. but then in America anything is possible!

And did you know, if you own a pub with 'INN' in the name eg: The New Inn, you are still obliged to put up weary travellers for the night AND provide stables, hay and water for their horses! If you refuse the local Magistrate can be informed and the 'Inn keeper' dealt with accordingly lol
