talking about organising a get together on a sat night in september at the townhouse for swinginging heaven members
this will be for cpls and about 8 single males as the club has a limit on the number of single guys
looking for around 30 cpls cost will be around 20 quid a cpl entry,,
will leave this open so as to see how many cpls are interested in attending,,

There are single guys who only meet couples (not many granted)

Nobody's taken the piss. I suggested LMU might be a better option. PL, I think, was trying to clarify whether it's open to single females as you didn't make it clear. Your assumption that single females are always welcome isn't quite right, that's all. No need to be mardy about it.

How is this a clique ? It was politely pointed out it was posted in the wrong place then pointed out there is plenty of options when it comes to what people are looking for, can advice not be given with humour with out it being deemed as piss taking ?

leg-pulling is just one of the lighter-hearted ways we can help people learn. Learn things like...
...to read the forum index to ensure future meet up type posts are posted in the correct section 'let's meet up'....
that if you assume when writing a post it can easily be misunderstood and it is better to spend a bit more time and thought to get the right people replying.
Now some people take the leg-pulling on the chin, have a little giggle and accept it in the spirit it was intended.
Others however get the arse and fail to see the hand of help wrapped in a fuzzy glove which is trying to point out things which may help them. Whilst these people may not learn anything during this process - I may well learn a great deal about them (or not).

If I went into a gay male chatroom and someone said that, I'd deserve it. Because I'd be in the wrong place. And I would probably get booted from the room and directed to a chatroom more appropriate for me.
The issue is not whether you are chat/forum people, it's about a post in the wrong bit of the forum.
