This new series about 70s swinging is first shown later tonight.
I've never seen any previews or write ups about it, but I'd make the following predictions;
All of the swingers are beautiful.
They never have child care problems.
None of the women are bi.
None of the women squirt !!
None of the men come too soon.
In a hotel no one knocks on the wall to keep the noise down !!
They never burst of laughing at a joke in the middle of sex.
All their meets go according to plan.
Just like swinging in real life then.

Spot on! worship
Been watching this and seen every episode so far. We both think it is good and captures the emotianal side of the scene particularly well. We like it.
have watched the whole series. Its quite watchable. Shame they only made the 1 series tho.

they only made the 1 series it was axed by the american network. a shame really it was quite good and some aspects were spot on for swinging apart from the beautiful people.
Aww rats! I hate it when that happens. x:
They did the same thing with a great sci-fi series called Defying Gravity which was aired on BBC2. They made 13 episodes, left all the questions unanswered, and then just binned it! And I can't understand why broadcasters like the BBC and ITV think it's a good idea to buy and screen half a series! rolleyes

Sadly with American TV series this happens quite often. Decisions are made on budget not if the series is finished or not. I now look for information on series before I even start watching them A few examples. Carnivale they made two series of that but that was not the end of the story based on the books the series was made around. The original planned run was 6 seasons like lost but it was axed after two despite winning many awards. Viewing figures dont seem to help either though lol Star trek the next generation was axed after series 8 despite being immensely popular and having growing ratings dunno Its a big risk you take when watching American TV series, will they ever reach the end :dunno: may be best to wait until the run is finished and find out before you waste time watching it.
As for Swingtown, was this a completed series so to speak or was it all left open? I noticed it when it first came on but to be honest I thought the title was too obvious to be what I thought and never looked  Maybe I'll get it on DVD if they do it?
yes it was coimplete series but did leave some things open as to what would happen next but niothing drasticor vital to the plot. apart from will she wont she deal with her situation. ( didnt want to give the plot away too much for those still to watch)
We watched it once and the acting was that shit that we actually thought it was filmed in the 70s!!
