system glitch , recent posts

not sure if its just us but lately we are getting no recent posts.. now unless my pc is fooked or the forums deader than mr dead the mayor of deadsville..theres summat up with the system..

Just wondering if any other users are having frequent problemswith regards to notifications of new mail. I sometimes seem to get no email notification, and like today i had 4 new mails, but no red envelope to indicate new/unread mail, like usuall. had this for a few weeks now.

I've merged both your threads.
Mail: mine has been working fine recently. Tho, have found that once I have a peek at received mail, don't open an then go back to forum, the red icon goes.
Recent posts: Not used that for ages! Just tried an it showed none... dunno

Anyone else with same prob?

i also recently have not been getting the red icon when mail is in yet the mail is in my mailbox?? Not a big issue, just thought I would mention it biggrin

yep also getting no new posts since last visit but if I go into a forum can see there are lots since I last looked.

Hi all, same issue regarding the mail delivery notification for me.
I am also finding the advert search is not showing the latest adverts for me at the moment - unless no-one has updated in the last 2 days!

There is a problem with the search on the photo ads. You can still access the ads via the "categories" or "latest" options, it just means that you have to wade through all the ads.
Only problem with my mail is that I never get any! :cry:

I seemed to have the same problem rolleyes

seems to have cured all by its little ol self :roll:
had a few mails arrive that were posted a few days ago so apologies for not responding quicker :shock:
On a lighter note worship

full marks to sh on the new chat multi video thingy superb and the chats so easy to traverse from one to another now and so quick :D :D :D

i only see iv got new mail when i actually go into mail box to look !

yep me to no flashing red thing lol and even though i still check my mail everytime i log on sometimes im getting mails that were sent to me 2 and 3 days earlier but were not showing

Ive had intermittent red envelope for the last couple of weeks. Often it doesnt flash when I have mail but sometimes it does .

As I understand it the problem with the missing flashy envelope is: If someone looks at the PM in their sent folder before you've seen it the system thinks it's been read and stops flashing at you. ;-)
