Taking Time Out From Events

Hi Everyone......some of you will know this but some won't so I'm going to tell everyone and then that way everyone will know biggrin

I am taking time out from SH Events (ie: Munches and Socials) for a couple of months.
The reason is that I have just had Surgery for a rather large Abcess at the top of my leg, the Doctor said it was the biggest he'd ever seen...LoL. I am in rather a lot of pain at the moment and can't walk properly....
The Doctor said it should heal in 6-8 Weeks so I have decided not to come to any Events or Socials until after Christmas. Just to make it clear, I am NOT leaving Swinging Heaven in any way shape or form and I WILL still be around the forums but for those used to seeing me at Munches and Socials and organising them I won't be doing so until after Christmas.
The Midlands Munch is still going ahead with me organising it as that is well after Christmas.
I will miss all the Munches but I will look forward to some serious partying in the New Year!!!

I hope that you are on the mend and get well soon.
Sounds extremely painful - so have a good rest - put your legs up - and MR KC wants to know if your thighs require any massage to drain away any further accumulation of post op fluids (of any kind) that he is available for this service at nil cost to you or the NHS lol

Steph hun, I will try to call you over the next couple of days.....I'll be starting work from home (chatline work) on Sunday for the week but not back to Uni Work probably until Monday 14th.....

I've had the misfortune to have had a similar problem in the past and can appreciate how bloody annoying it is (I couldn't sit down properly or lie on my back for over three months).

Just to re-iterate I am NOT leaving SH.....I will still be about posting on here and sending and hopefully receiving PM's wink

I will miss being at the Socials and Munches but I plan to party in full after the New Year.....
