What would you say was your talent? And what do you wish you were good at?

I'm good at people, and asking questions, and coming up with novel solutions; I'd love to be able to tap dance, fit taps to all my shoes and punctuate my day with little soft shoe shuffles!

I can play the piano cello and sing, although I don't play much these days. I'm quite creative and can make things and draw, need to get my watercolour skills back up to scratch in the next few months as they'll be needed soon!
I'm also quite handy with a tennis racket and about to start ballet again but after this long a break I think it will take a while to get back into it! smile

I suppose my main talent is music. I play the piano and classical (or church) organ as well as electric keyboards and I write music - though I haven't done much writing in a long time.
I wish I could draw - Sappho and Sappho Jr are brilliant at it so I have to leave that side of creativity to them. I also wish I was better at cricket - particularly batting. My bowling's not too bad, but my batting's a bit of an embarrassment :sad: . I'm thinking of joining one of the local clubs as the training could help me get fitter - but I don't suppose I'll get any better!

I've been told by a few partners that my bj's are awesome but can't see that going on my CV :giggle:
I can cook and do diy, not at the same I hasten to add wink

but I think my particular talent is having an eye for photography :cool:

Shouting! mainly at children lol

I have the ability to shout at the kids in a kind of loud voice that makes them stop dead in their tracks. Normally not only do my kids stop but everyone else's kids too if its in somewhere like Asda, one woman dropped her milk too once :shock: If theres a room full of party kids going ape and someone trying to get their attention I often get forwarded to do the job.
Creatively I can do nothing, cant draw or paint, cant make anything and got told not to do GCSE pottery sad

Shame that was an easy option.

I have a very low electrical resistance. Which comes in very handy when I'm being electrocuted. Not something I do very often I must point out, but I do remember once as an apprentice getting a kick which threw me across a room and it was only the wall that stopped me.
I can also hold my breath for well over two minutes. Not sure where that might come in handy, so if you've got any ideas ? lol

i'd love to be able to sing, i have a shit voice and sound like barry white, my dad had a great singing voice. I'd love to be elegant and graceful but am not.

I can pick up dance routines pretty quickly, can make cakes and have good organisational skills. Feck! I sound like Martha Stewart smile

I'm good at solving problems, good in a crisis, good at most creative/artistic kind of things, and I get on with most people.
I no self discipline at all, I don't work very hard (but I can get a lot done with a little effort), I'm not conventionally organised (but I'm great at improvising), and I tend to piss off people who are methodical/organised by nature.
Good at pub quizzes too Nola. Random bits of information just lodge themselves in my head and I can't get rid of them.

me too, well not shouting so much i prefer to think of it as speaking loudly and authoritively. one day i took my kids with me into work to pick something up and they started messing about in the staff room so i told them to sit down now and 2 members of staff and my boss all sat down too had me in stitches :lol:
my talent would be my hairdressing i'm fairly creative especially with colour and cutting

Definitely. Or, the filing system in my head is about as organised as the one on my desk.
