Gonna nip to the tattooist today, as ya do. I fancy getting the celtic band, on my wrist, re-done. Up-graded, as it were.
Now, I am sure things have progressed over the years, but how are we fixed for olours in the tattoo world, these days? Still limited to primaries, with anything else fading within a couple of years?
Or can you get a myriad of lasting colours, these days?
Bloody hell, I bet prices are slightly off what I remember, too. rolleyes Just thought of that.
The range of colours are fantastic now, my sister works in a tat shop and my tats are all a myriad of colours, I have some gorgeous butterflies! It's also getting more fashionable to go for coloured work instead of the tribal that has been popular over the last few years.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering. My wrist band is that lovely (!) greeny-blue, that's supposed to be black. rolleyes Thought I might get it covered... expanded and coloured, sort of thing.
Thx for that, MQ... is exactly what I needed to know. (Reckon they'll be able to do it?)
A decent tattooist can cover most things Vix, hope it looks fab when it's done smile
Id like a tattoo on my arse biggrin
One of my old pals had a tatoo done was angel wings on her back (bit ott for me tbh!) But it did look nice and cost her £80 but that was with no colour although that was only because of where it was and cause of the amount of work already done to it thy thought it would have been too much as once painwise!

Will show y'all. Natch.
My favourite tat at the moment is on Ian Watkins the singer of the Lostprophets, he has two winged guns on his belly pointing down just where I'd like to kiss him wink
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm biggrin :D :D
Pah.
Tattooist was unsure whether the ink used in my existing 'temporary' tatt will react with the inks of a new one... so she promises to call me and let me know.
Am all dissappointed now as I wanted it done now, if not sooner. sad
You are brave ladies having it done at all - but it can be very effective, very beautiful - and a nice suprise when you see the ones that someones clothes cover up! redface

I understand your disappointment Vix, but imagine if you had had it done, only to discover the inks would not settle.
The tattoo artist is covering not only herself, but you also.
Better to be safe eh?
