i have got automatics updates from microsoft, so if thats the prob any idea how i can get the site to work? it is the only site that it wont let me on, its driving me insane lol.
I had this happen late last night completely out of the blue. I was still connected via my wireless modem to the web because my IM was up and running.
In the end I shut everything down, including the wireless and rebooted. Everything was fine after that. Don't know what the explanation was though dunno
Change the browser. IE is worse than McDonald`s ;)

If you are running dial up then it's probably due to the slow speed. Even with high speed broadband I've found that some parts of the site are sometimes slow to load. I would suggest you set the settings back to medium again and connect them both up via a network to your broadband. If you need a hand just send me a PM wink

have you deleted you cookies recently, might have some rougues in there
Sometimes is depend on users....Too much, too many connections.
Try to remove all cookies from your PC. After...defragmentation (specialy csmile
BTW...We have xp with no bloody SP`s, no updates....
Or....maybe this site have a "dangerous" prior? Really...try Firefox or Opera browser.

PS: There is reallly a lots of FREE better than M$ progs....
Reboot the PC AND the router. The NAT addressing on the router or the PC can drop acks, and IE assumes a time out.
seeing as it is XP i would sugest doing a system restore, to a point where you knew the last configuration worked biggrin
just in case its startall programmesaccessoryssystem toolssystem restore
Or if reboot not working, switch to the old tracert...
Go to a command line and type:
tracert
The SH site seems not to respond to pings, however if you only see a couple of hops you not getting outside your network. May help trace it. Mine gets up to hop 22 before timing out, I assume at the SH server.
I would guess the routes table on PC 2 is confused as to network settings of some sort, so try:
ipconfig/all
Compare the output of DNS Servers between working and non working PC. Also default gateway.
Um er, guessing a lot as I can't see the PC. Hope you sort it.
