I wonder whether anyone could help?
I messed around with the users accounts on my XP, dont know what or why, but seem to have lost all my music that was stored in My Documents.
When you delete a user account it asks whether you want to save the contents in an admin file. I cant remember being asked this and have found an administrator file that i cant open, but dont know if there is anything in it.
Any help most appreciated!
you have a PM smile

Just did a serch for music and they were still there in the hard drive . lol

I generally don't trust XP so always run my mp3s off to a purpose made folder
If you really can't find them let me know and i will give you a link to a site and they have a great file recovery program for bringing back the deleted! and it can bring back files after a defrag or account deletion........
I know as i have done it a few times redface

bloody missed another ochance to show off how intelligent I am, when ya as ugly as me ya need opputunities like that to impress......... damn you to hades sharon lmao
Seriously glad ya got it sorted. If ya have any similiar problems in the future, restart your pc and press F8 while it boots up, choose to start windows in 'safe' mode and it will default to your admin account, and give you full acess to all those pesky lost files lol

Nur Nur i got there first lol
And when you boot up pressing the F8 key, you forgot to say, that only works if you know the admin account password sad
And if the files had been deleted completely they still wouldn't be seen even being logged in as admin :(
