technical problem with the site...

why can i never find the Glitch thread when i want it!!! smile

anyway if this has been done is the last couple of hours the please lock it....
is there a problem with pm's at the moment.???
I only ask because i got sent a pm by a person on the site at ... and received it at thought it was just a bit strange...
or is that just another that is on list of stuff that needs fixing after the bank holiday???? :)

I think there is a problem with the setting of clocks. For example, when I look at my profile it tells me I am not online (huh?) and that I last logged on 6 hours ago (no, I didn't!). Therefore, I guess the SH clock is six hours behind GMT which could explain the discrepancy between the time shown on messages and the time you received them.

when you say received do you mean the email notification or the actual site mail?

I received some messages (3 in fact) that arrived in the afternoon (I keep checking my mailbox while I'm on site chatting etc) but the time stamp on them said they were sent at 6am! Is there a time display error or is there an actual delay?

I had considered that and of course it may be correct, it just seems to be really inconsistent. When you check your mail box and there are no messages then check back 10 minutes later and there are messages there with the current/relevant time on, yet sometimes the opposite occurs. :!:
Did that make sense even to me? I need a cuppa lol!

The actual site mail...
Email notification arrived sometime after but I put that down to email provider being away for the bank holiday.

oooh whilst we have a PM glitch thread thingy-me-jig-whatsit going confused

:? Is it just me who is getting problems with quotes or commands when using html in my PM's :? when I get a reply (a rare ocasion in its own right lol

) but the quote tags and the other comands such as image and colour are always scrambled as such................. :?

i just cant get in i am clicking on the enter chat room splab and nothing im click click clik. what have i done now to cock it up???? not eaven the flag at the top right corner waving. redface

oooooo iv never posted in here . bibi looks round and notices a few things out of place.......quick tidy up thatl sort it out.

Well I have had a persistent chat problem for a few weeks now.
Now, touch wood, this morning, I have not been thrown out once so far!

Ok so I'm no clearer lol! Is SH mail (PMs) arriving right away but with random times on or are PMs actually either going astray or not arriving for hours?
