i keep on having the same problem from time to time, where when i click into the cafe, or into a thread, i only see the posts that existed at a certain time previously.
e.g. everytime i click into the cafe today, it looks exactly as it did at about 2pm. when i click refresh, all the latest threads appear. when i click into a thread, i see posts made up to about 2pm again, and again i have to refresh. exactly the same in my pm box.
now i'm assuming it's a cookie problem, but my firewall and IE options are set to accept cookies, and usually it all works fine, but every so often this little problem crops up. and usually it fixes itself within a day or so. it's just a complete pain . . .
is anyone else seeing this, or have they a possible solution to it?

Are you using Internet Explorer? I just re-read - you are redface
If you are try this:
Click Tools
Click Internet Options
On the General Tab click Settings (under Temp internet files)
See what you have selected there. Automatic will refresh every time you go to a page.
We has summat similar mate , but it turned out our firewall was fuckin with settings everytime we rebooted ( you never said if you were rebooting or not) . It was basically telling IE to refuse new cookies .
The best solution would be to seriously hurt Bill Gates , but failing that the previous setting 'auto' sounds like its spot on .

Another thought based on an ISP I used in the past. It could be a proxy server storing pages. They do that sometimes to reduce bandwidth from the ISP to the Internet backbone. Check:
Tools
Internet Options
Connections
Settings
If the "use proxy server for this ...." is checked then that means you're using one. If it is caching pages then you'll have to refresh with Control & F5 (or Control & Refresh) to get an updated page.
lololol i fixed it!
my temp internet files was set to a max of 64mb . . . . i had 198mb in there ffs! dunno
it needs emptying from time to time eh? rotflmao
cheers for the tips tho guys. got me looking in the right place!
