techy help please

f.f.s someone help banghead

can any one explain what a loopback address does i am currently using microsoft antispyware (beta) and keep getting a pop up window saying host file blocked with the following ip ad 127.0.0 as soon as i click this notice off the computer is inundated with pop up ads. all for online poker
the last time i clicked it off i spent over 20 mins clicking off over 1000 pop up windows all after the other has anyone else had this if so have you got rid of it and how i have looked everywhere for a solution but all to no avail even tried disabling it in the antispyware program but it wont let me confused

in addition to the above i have ran spybot, avast antivirus and abexo registry cleaner all have found nothing banghead

Hi

Sorry to here you have problems. The link below tells you about Loopback. Hope it helps for the moment. Are you using a firewall or router with a built in firewall? Do you have any other anti spy / ad software to double check for those nigly sneeky bits that get downloaded.
