Not had my teeth whitened - thought about it a few times, decided I'm happy with what I use now.
Good whitening toothpaste is BlanX - think its from boots - cheaper in Morrison's (so I've been told). I used to use Beverly Hills but this is much better.
Being in the business so to speak lol teeth whitening is ok as long as not overdone. Nothing looks worse than stark white teeth really.
The only really successful way to have it done is through a dentist but can be very expensive and doesnt last forever.
I have. Didn't have the laser treatment but have had the trays (a mould is made from an impression of your teeth so that it fits excactly and you wear them with a bleaching gel in)
It worked really well but it was fairly expensive at nearly £200 and it can be a little bad pain, just twinges like when you eat something really cold.
This was a few years ago now and it does fade, although mine are still white they are not as good as they were, it's all the coffeee that I drink! I saw an advert for an offer on laser whitening the other day for only £99 so I am considering that as a top up.
Had mine done a few years ago - best thing I ever spent £200 on I reckon! Had them done at the dentist - they make a mould of your teeth so the gel goes in the right places. Like mistress sassy says, it can be a bit achy, but that doesn't last. My dentist sells me tubes of the whitening gel so I can 'refresh' my teeth - only get round to doing this once a year or so which is enough.
i was told by my dentist that using tooth whitening toothpaste are too abrasive and cause scratches on the tooth that new stains get a quicker grip on and that unless these toothpastes are regularly used teeth stain much quicker ... better to get the dentist to polish them than use whitening toothpastes as for the bleaching of them .. not something a am bothered about and wouldnt use. wouldnt a good dentist polish do the trick and be cheaper than a dentist bleach
Cheers all.
Much (non staining!) food for thought.
