When you use a password to get into a site Windows usually asks if you want it to remember the password to save typing it in everytime.
Is there a way to find the stored passwords in Windows, I wish to access this site from another computer but need my password.

Hi Mr FC, turn your current P.C. upside down and shake whilst holding a Knife in a slot and your stored password and other stuff should fall out.
You could always PM the Black Dalek (aka Mark) and ask him to have a look for you??
Thanks I knew there would be one sensible answer...Jags get a grip biggrin :D kiss

Unless he knows how to hack the database he won't be able to find it. What he will be able to do is assign a new password to the account, which the user can then change.

There's the facility to get your password emailed back to you. Don't think Mark needs to hack his own database?? I could be wrong cos most of this stuff is techno-shite (cJAGS2004).
Thankyou Sussex will give it a go!

The passwords are held in encrypted form in the database, or at least they should be. Even with access to the database all you can do is reset the password and email a new one. Which is what the forgot password thing does.
ah!!!
Thanks...

I misread the thread title and thought this was going to be a discussion about Star Trek.
Can we?
Go on, you KNOW you want to. ;)
Ice
Go on then Ice, I'll talk about Star Trek with you, I had a real crush on that Luke Skywalker bloke when I was younger
I'm only joking btw lol I do know the difference between Star trek and Star Wars, even being a girlie
Eeek! Star Wars! Nooooooooooo! lol

The writers messed that up you know. "7 of 9" is not a proper Borg designation. Remember 3rd of 5,aka "Hugh"?
So it should be 7th of 9.
Not that I'm a geek or anything wink
