I called the police out last tueday about some criminal damage done - they just turned up ten minutes or so ago.
Theres a private property notice on the side gate leading to the carpark for my building to stop people using it as a cut through, i was going through it earlier and was face by two policeman using it as a short cut. ITs private property! surely laws apply to them too
On Eastenders just now when a car alarm went off they were there in 3 seconds!!!
I had a very good result when I caught 2 kids trying to nick my scoot. The police were here within 15 mins, gave them a description and I thought I'd hear no more. 20 mins later they're back with the 2 scrots in the back of the hurry up wagon. Statement taken same night, 2 scrots charged with attempted theft and possession of an offensive weapon
The police blocked a road near where i live so i told my friend to take the side street so we could avoid the hold up, haha, bad idea. Two cars followed us, pulled us over, i got searched etc etc
Fun
A year or so ago my Daughter got hit by a guy hidding in the hedgrows outside our house after asking him what was he doing... it was about 2am she had just got out of a taxi. I heard all the goings on and ran outside to confront this guy, he was doing all the usual stuff about your a dead man your gonna get capped etc and I knocked him down and held him whilst ringing the police.. telling them we had an intruder who had already hit my daughter and I had him pinned on the ground.. now 40 mins passed and they called me back on my mobile asking for a description!!!! I explained I'm sitting on the sh** and if they want him to come and fetch him. Took another 2 hours!!!
Great eh........
To be fair though it was a weekend night... They are busy you know!! Mmm

Acouple of weeks ago there was a shot fired in the small cul de sac where I live so being a good citizen I phoned the police. Very shortly 3 police turned up with very large guns strapped to them. We showed them which house the pratt had gone into and they went outside, had a discussion and then got in their car and left. A while later some unarmed police (including a community policeman ) turned up and asked where the gunman was. Told them again and while they discussed it outside we watched the gunman leave the house.
I was bemused by it all. Was it too scary for the cops with guns that they had to leave it to their unarmed colleagues or did they think I had an over active imagination? Oh next day a neighbour was walking down the street and the police and forensics were there as they had found a bullet on the pavement. See!!! I wasn't lying and if they had gone in when they first arrived it would have saved them from having to put those annoying boards out on the pavement asking for witnesses
