Possibly one of the best ever comedy programs. I was a nipper when it was shown, but I still remember the giant kitten and the huge flat caps and black puddings. rotflmao

6 Jul 2004

The only way to settle this is to look for the family resemblance…… do you have a large wart on your chin? And knuckles that drag on the ground? Have you got ears that are on top of your head.. rather than at the side?
Is one eye substantially larger than the other?
Do you howl at a full moon?
And do you wear a GG cup bra?

6 Jul 2004

Yes Except for the bra

Apparently they got a letter from Mary Whitehouse commending them for good, clean family television, so from then on they did everything they could to piss her off lol

6 Jul 2004

The Goodies rule! Get the DVD. When I watched them as a child it was just enjoyable silliness. But now I can appreciate the satire. All I need now is for them to release more than half a dozen episodes (and the rest of 'Allo 'Allo, and the Muppets).

6 Jul 2004

Ah, good - back on topic!
Who remembers the giant Dougal...?!
Ah, now THAT was comedy! Now I've just got to join a whole other socioeconomic group and listen to "I'm sorry, I haven't a clue" on Radio 4 to catch up with Graeme Garden and Tim Brooke-Taylor! Speaking of which, I missed the repeat of last week's on Sunday so it's time to toddle off to Auntie Beeb's website!
lol

Is that the Radio 4 show hosted by Humph Littleton????
If so - it's tremendous - he is a master of innuendo!
Gryphon - you didn't once own the Midland Bank did you?
I used to carry your picture everywhere with me! lol
