I've just had an email confirming my place on the plinth ! :thrilled: I am not 100% sure what I will say or do yet.... Ideas are running around my head like ants lol
But if you had an hour on the plinth what would you do ? (anything legal is allowed)

I dont expect you'll be seeing me lol .... but I'm being given all manner of ideas for my hour.
Ideas I have been given so far ...
1)Championing a charity I like, talk about them, hold a banner etc
2)Play my favourite music and have a mini party (I like country music) lol
3)Reading poems or extracts from a book I have enjoyed.
4)Talk about me
5)Be silent and just people watching
6)Take pictures of the people around me
7)Take a chair with me and just sit down and enjoy the view
I have caught a few people up there via the live link and some have really done nothing but sit there for the hour on the phone to a friend while others have done a mini play they have written togther with masks lol

I'd maybe be tempted to read Gabriel Garcia Marquez's Hundred Years of Solitude, given that you are kind of alone but surrounded by people.

Yes I think the first person raised awareness of NSPCC, not sure I want to do that. I support a number of small charities here and in India so couldn't single anyone out.... Though my nan has offered to make me a top with all the charities I support so they can be viewed on my boobs lol

Well what did you do, as it seems the project has now come to an end?
Strangely enough I had a conversation about this very thing the other night.
It involved the History of Trafalgar Sq itself, the inclusion of the National gallery, the Tate Modern (being an art-type thing, and instalation), further links from Trafalgar & France, including the bombing of the Louvre.
All inclusive of our older generation too, as they can be sadly passed over in the art world.
I shant tell you how they were involved though.... it mat be considered inhumane, though I assure you that they would have all been willing volunteers in the spirit of Brittania!!!
