The thing is UEFA or the national FA's will never do anything to sort out racisum (SP?

Hooligans on the other hand are more visual if you like and therefore more in the public eye thanks to the press and TV and so the authorities act in order to keep their "important" sponsors happy.

Racism in football or life in general will never be sorted out as it is such a vast area to deal with, what one person considers to be a racist comment will not matter to another person. racism comes about in many forms at it is just not possible to get everybody to except everybody else. I agree with you all racism and general narrow mindedness is something i detest.
As Kardiffuk pointed out the racist aspect of the crowd in tonights game has done nothing to help the spanish case of holding the olympic games though i already believe that it will be staged in new york due to 9/11. They have a very strong case to get the olympic in order to help out th citizens of ny and for the general urban regeneration that such a massive and important event, plus the americans know how to put on a good show.
