The SH New Years Honours List

Well, if its good enough for the queen, then its good enough for us, and I really think that we should have our very own, SH Style new years honours list.
So following the normal pattern of things round here, Im going first and will no doubt think of more as the night goes on lol

I would therefore, like to make the following awards:
1. MBE to Mr Choon for his unwaivering efforts to the latest style of cordon bleu cooking.
2. MBE to Angelica for her survival skills (on the understanding she did survive the afore mentioned cooking skills).
3. OBE to Mrs Bonedigger for her 'thread starting' skills (keep them coming)
4. OBE to Mr Woohoo, for his sexy accent when typing. No one does it better!
5. Special Award to Dawnie, Ian and Corrie for their contributions to the world of dogging (I so wanted to type Dawnie Does Dogging but couldnt risk it) wink

Well done everyone

So who do you think deserves a special award, an MBE or an OBE (not a clue what the difference is) and why.

OBE is Order of the British Empire, whilst MBE is Member of the British Empire, the OBE being the more significant and more difficult to obtain, unless of course you donate to the Labour Party Campaign Fund bolt

A damehood for Mrs NWC for her munching organisational skills, and looking drop dead gorgeous biggrin

An OBE for Fanny for making me smile time and again.
An MBE for Woo for his friendly forum ways.
Also a damehood for Frex for staying true to herself and not changing for anyone.
A Knighthood for choon for being a tomato puree lover too.

Honours aplenty (cos I really don't understand what they all mean!!) should go to:
Cherrytree - because she has honesty and integrity by the bucketload
Fabio - for being a true gentleman (oh and for being pretty impressive at the old Fantasy Football thing too!)

What a wonderful idea.
I think a new set of honours could be created - turning things on their heads a bit.
Top o' the heap would be MBE - Mods of the British Empire.
Followed by OBE - Others of the British Empire
I would naturally follow up with CBE - but I don't want to get into that sort of territory!
Well the Mods?
Over the year they have been a pretty stable bunch. Not many changes and things have run extremely smoothly. Some will say that things running smoothly would happen naturally and it is nowt to do with the Mods. Think again! We 'Others' have no idea what the Mods do for us day in day out and we owe them all a vote of heartfelt thanks. As it happens, most of 'em (that I know anyway) are pretty special people. So Thank you.
Others?
Now we get into dangerous territory. As many will know I abhor popularity threads and so picking out individuals is against my nature - however there is one here, who has, on occasions, suffered the slings and arrows but has remained consistent in her pursuit of seeing quality on this site - I mean FB!
