It's chucking it down here in Dorset......thunder lightning rain bouncing off the turf like there no tomorrow.
Watching the golf from Liverpool brillent sunshine.
So peeps whats it like where you are is it on its way up to Liverpool?
Cloudy in Birmingham. Which suits me fine - can't cope with bright light in my hungover state. Why, why oh why can't I control myself around a bottle of alcohol?? redface
Well, the weather has finally broken in the South.
We have thunder, lightening, the whole works and for me, I reckon it’s wonderful.
I have just been standing in the warm rain looking at the light show feeling just totally amazing and getting totally drenched. The experience of the warm fresh rain and watching is totally exhilarating for me.
However, I realise that we all don’t like the same things and it occurred to me how many people I know that are frightened of thunder and lightening.
Would this stop people from standing in the rain – do you need to find the nearest table and run for cover? How do people react when we hear the roll of thunder in the distance?
Blow it up here. Hope it arrives soon. lol
Its already doing its worst in Yorskshire, never has thunder sounded so good and sheet rain looked so inviting biggrin

Got the first distant rumbles of thunder here now..
Ilove it..
If it happens in the night and wakes the kids we sit in the window and watch the lightning..
They have done this since an early age and it has helped to deal with any fears they might have had..

We had one of those "flash flood" type downpours earlier.
I rushed out to cover the kebab stand, but when I got out there, I slowed down and took my time. It was very warm rain, but still refreshing.
A little later HLB came back from the dining room saying she'd closed the patio doors as it was raining in.
I went for a look and for some reason couldn't resist the temptation to open the door and ease her back through it into the warm rain.
Of course, I followed.
But it was more of a giggly, laughy, squeeeealy thing than a passionate, bend her over the patio table; or stand leaning against the garage side doors sort of thing where you feel the warm rain running over and down your bodies as you entwine holding each other closely and firmly feeling the contrast . . . . . . .
STOP IT ! ! ! ! !

Just heard one here in Wolves and it just started spotting with rain.
Clouds moving in here now in Liverpool, think the thunder is on its way.
*runs to hides under the covers*

I have come to love thunderstorms, they make me feel all tingley and charged, must be the static in the atmosphere. I also agree that the thunder hides the squeels of delight redface

Thinking about it - I haven't seen my neighbour for a couple of days. Maybe they've gone away for a while. Perhaps it's time for patio play
Or maybe even a small bbq get together
