Surely it's to meet others in a SOCAL setting without any pressures of play? Private function is a more suitable term. It also seems clear to me, however the lines are getting blurred and I personally find that a shame. The concept of the munch to my mind is an excellent one, it allows us all to meet one another, put faces to names, introduce ourselves and enjoy a social evening out together, it was always my impression that the event was meant to be akin to a regular night out in a regular bar. It may be that the pubs and bars I visit on a regular night out are unique in the behaviour and dress of the clientelle because short of the odd kiss in greeting, I've seen nothing that compares with some of the things I've seen at munches, thats not to say that I'm bothered by anything I've seen, I'm not, other than for the point that it isnt as described and I believe that to be a problem. If you blur the lines between party and munch, move the boundaries, fiddle with acceptabilities, piss around outside of the general conceptions, you end up with something thats niether fish nor fowl in short, you fuck it up.

Are these guys the only gropers on the site (or off it)? Or at the munch? Think about it.

What bothers me a great deal is that they are referred to as Asians - not young guys, or students, or a couple of troublemaking lads. . . .in the title of this thread.
How can we complain about a couple of guys who stuck out because of their colour when we were having a grand old time flirting our tits off with as many people as we fancied, TOTALLY ignoring the general public ? Except for the (white) rugby players having their own fun on the dancefloor, and they had big hands...how come they are not also sullied? They were well dodgy.
Why are the Asians singled out as gropers after the event and yet no one actually said anything at the time?
I’m sorry I disagree with this thread in many ways. They should be kept off the site and away from munches, yes, of course, but there are many many guys who ‘give single guys a bad name’ to quote kinkyluton. The title thread sullies more than their singledom.

well im sorry but its not asians people being singled out....i said the thread cause i wanted the two people who done this to see..at the time..not being rude but they was they was two blokes who was 6 foot tall ginger..it would been called the two 6 foot tall ginger blokes,
i only had herd of and i dont want put in if they want me to take of i will....i herd marya had a hard time i warned them of...then while i was with juicylucy...i was hugging her at the time he came over tryed touchy her breast....drunk or no drunk i think they thought cause was a swinging party they could use ladys how they wanted to,thinking it was right...it wasnt thats why i did the thread to show them it wasnt right...i had to make out i was her husband so they leave her alone...then i get back to hotel,look ie AFTER the munch to hear that lil miss gullible had troubles with them....
then/...soon as i get home put on computer i hear that at the after party....the same bloke had tryed to finger juicy lucy ..sorry about how i say it but thats what happend...she didnt even talk to them they just came behind and did iti have herd loads had trouble with these guys,,why didnt someone say at time??? cause no1 knew this would get to this..
i said the 2 aisian guys...cause that is what they was..not being racist...sharif was there and we spoke alot,he was decent bloke....i dont know why im expain to be fair...they was out of order...sorry i didnt know they was making loads feel scared...and i only look after the 2 who i was with.....i think this really is somebody trying get me back,like they told me before they would do......the same person who wrote me a pm calling me a wanker...cause i never spoke to her,i dont know...cause im happy i dont know...
maybe some are strong and can put blokes who give them a bad time in there place,but not all can

i have tried kept out of this as much as possible but since everyone else has has their say i think i might i may as well have mine.....
the biggest problem with the place... is that we didn't have it to ourselves so to speak... when i got there at the beginning i honestly didn't have a clue who was SH and who wasn't...
i saw people just walk straight thru the venue....and to be honest even thought there was security there... if we had had out own sectioned of place that may well have helped a lot....
yes munches are vanilla events but i still feel it is at best it should be a public party in a private venue so to speak (does that make sense???)
as nice as the venue was... it was probably just a tad too public to feel really really comfortable.....
as for the "other bit" i was one of the people who complained and i gave a description of the people to the staff.... obviously other people felt the same as me and they complained.. if i had seen it going on at the munch venue i would have complained then....
i think the lesson ifrom all of this is if anyone does anything like this... go up to the organisers or someone who you can trust and tell them... if it was happening at a munch i was organising i would certainly want to know!!! and if anyone had told steph then i am sure something would have been done....

Ginger 6-footer is not the same as Asian. Not if you're Asian.
The issue, for me, is that two guys groped and nothing got said.
Then we all make a song and dance about it, and come at it from all sides, as LilMiss noticed.
Then the thread starter thinks a racist question is a personal dig at himself, which it isn't, and starts getting unecessarily personal in what is essentially a very serious topic.
It was a point that needed to be made and something that i have considered a good deal beforehand. In the same way that we shouldn't allow gropers at a munch, neither should we label offenders so negatively in a public forum.
