Meeting a really lovely lady at the weekend... 
And being treated really nicely at Premier Inn... I had an accident while there, and they phoned me last night when we got home to make sure that I was ok! Right made my day that.

It was raining yesterday and I was driving along the road. On the pavement, a black figure. Her black umbrella was tilted back, against the rain. Her black boots protected her feet and lower legs from the rain and splashes. Her tight black dress feel to just below the nee. Because it was tight there was a nine inch slash up the back. As she walked I glimpsed her leg. Step forward, leg. Next step coming level with the first foot, no leg. Moving forward, another glimpse of leg.
I pulled my eye back to the road, and had to smile.

I unplugged everything- moved everything across the room- plugged it back in- and it worked! First time! :smug: There were at least 10 things that could have gone wrong- and the only glitch was needing to find an extender for the phone cable. That was in a tangle to put the spaghetti restraunt overlooking spaghetti junction on spaghetti fest week to shame, granted, but it's in now.
A minor achievement, perhaps. But 10 things that could potentially go wrong multiplied by a factor of Witchy usually = disaster.

My new gardener has just been to cut our grass.

But that's not why I'm smiling... he's just finished and text me to say that he'll be back in two weeks with a mate and he's going to attack the flower beds AND cut the grass.
I've had such a struggle to get everyone in the stair to pay up and he's gonna do it for no extra cash! Restores your faith in good people so it does! :mrgreen:
