I'm going to the Wigan munch in Dec and it's only my second one, the other being in Nottingham a few years ago. It's more to do with lack of funds for me lately plus, with the exception of anything going on in Bristol, fk all seems to happen in South Wales. That means if I want to attend a munch I have no choice but to travel quite far to find one neutral

I've not been to a munch (or social) in a while now and I really miss them. I shall be back at some point though biggrin

For anyone who hasn't been to one - I can recommend Wigan :thumbup:

WE cant get to socials as we run a pub so we usually do our own at the pub. (from another site) We have been talking about maybe after the new year doing one on here, but we where wondering what response we would get as we are new and we know people like to go to socials that are held by established people, although we are new to the site, really we are not as we met on here 6 years ago and left the site 12 months ago, but decided it was time to come back.

Believe me Sassy theres nothing going on in Bristol either :sad: Damned pity because its needed. If it wasn't for the fact that we're 50 miles away we'd try and get something sorted but it really is impracticable. Oh, and if Somersetcouple read this and ever fancy doing another munch/social... we'd be everso grateful the last couple you did made for a great weekend for us.
There were a couple of attempts at a social for the under 30's and/or exceptionally gorgeous but they failed on numbers turning up by all accounts. which doesn't suprise me because I think you dont know how to party until your in your mid 30'sat the earliest.
As for South wales, another popular site is holding some fabulous ones in Swansea I've heard, although not being a lover of that site, whether thats fact i'm not certain.

Last Bristol munch I went to was brilliant....
Lovely drinks and chats in the afternoon in a lovely setting then a crackin munch in the evening....
Whens the next one ;-)
