a friend of mine used to play like that a bit, many years ago. altough the best trick i saw him do was swap his stumming hand and fingering hand mid riff :shock:
i really believe his is one of the worlds undiscovered rock gods, probably due to him looking less like Kurt Cobain and more like the love child of Weird Al Yankovich and a King Charles Spaniel

being a guitar player myself i was expecting something awesome but its not that special , i know he has a finger or two missing but playing that style is fairly basic .
now if he was playing it behind his back standing one one leg while balancing on a bar stool over a pit of deadly snakes that would of been impressive .
