OK, I’ve been working up to posting this. Many of you will think ‘Oh here he is again that Tune Essence, the shadowy figure on the Café. Don’t know him too well – what’s he on about now!?’
Well those of you who remember me from a way back may recall that I was on here with Mrs TE’s blessing but that she wasn’t interested in joining in. I was hopeful that she would log on occasionally, see what a blast this place is and want to join in. Once she’d done that then we might be able to come along to some meets. I was very keen not to put any pressure on her as whatever involvement there was had to be what she wanted to do.
Things have happened but not in the way that I had imagined. We’ve had a heart to heart and agreed that we love each other and will stay together but we have different interests and want to do separate things. This we will now do. There are of course limits as to what we will do separately but what it means is that I will be able to make some of the munches and other meets (if welcome). Mrs TE has even said that she would like to come and meet some people from the site that she has heard me talk of and who have expressed a wish to meet us in the past.
So, in many ways, it is a new era for me and I’m sorry to have to inform you all that you may get to know me a bit better in future. It's been too long in my book.
The other way of doing this would’ve been to just put my name down for some meets and slipped into the scene, if permitted, but I would’ve run the risk of some people, who new my previous circumstances, thinking I was there dishonestly. Hence this post.
This is not intended to be 'interactive', if you know what I mean, so if a mod wants to lock it - feel free but I wouldn't mind it hanging around long enough for a few people to see (FFS talk about mixed messages!!).
